Westtown Dental Associates is located in beautiful Westtown Township, Pennsylvania and was started in 1985 by Dr. Barbara Diorio and Dr. David Swintek. Dr. Brent Guenthner joined the practice in 1995 and Dr. Murphy Ziesel was added in 2019. In 2022 we welcomed Dr. Kailin Guttman.

Our Doctors
Brent Guenthner, DMD
Dr. Brent Guenthner has resided in Chester County, Pennsylvania since grade school, graduating from Downingtown High School. He had decided to become a dentist at an early age which lead him to attend Albright College as a Pre-dental Major and obtaining a B.S. degree in Biology. Dr. Guenthner graduated from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in 1994. While attending Dental School, he was inducted into The Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. He also received the Operative Dentistry and Oral Medicine Department Awards. After Dental School, he completed a General Practice Dental Residency, gaining advanced training in treating medically compromised patients, traumatic dental injuries, and general dentistry. He then joined Westtown Dental Associates and has seen the practice evolve into a dynamic general dental practice.
Dr. Guenthner resides in Malvern with his wife and two children. When not practicing dentistry, he enjoys running, golfing, gardening, and being with his family.

Murphy Ziesel, DMD
Dr. Murphy Ziesel has resided in West Chester most of her life and was excited to join the team at Westtown Dental Associates, so she could serve members of her hometown. Dr. Ziesel attended Henderson High School and went on to graduate with honors from Villanova University and Temple University’s School of Dentistry. She is a certified Invisalign provider and is experienced in general dentistry. Her interests lie in restorative and cosmetic care as well as education because she loves to give her patients a healthy smile that they can be proud of.
In her spare time, Dr. Ziesel enjoys traveling, supporting her local sports teams and spending time with family and friends.

Kailin Guttman, DMD
Dr. Kailin Guttman graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and a minor in materials science. She went on to the University of Pennsylvania where she was a dual-degree graduate with a doctorate degree in dental medicine and a master’s degree in bioengineering. Dr. Guttman is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, and Alpha Eta Mu Beta Biomedical Engineering Honor Society. She also received the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award and the Limoli Practice Management Award. Dr. Guttman is passionate about providing a personalized and cutting-edge dental experience for every patient. She is excited to join Westtown Dental Associates and get to know all her patients!
Outside of the office, Dr. Guttman is an avid equestrian and enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with family and her three Siberian huskies.
